-Main Switching-
The guild recognizes and supports its members through a community where players can enjoy playing this game. To extend your game play experience, the guild supports its members wanting to change their main character if they wish to do so. At the same time, we want you to recognize the impact this switch would have on the guild and ask that at all times to please consider the effect of your request. To help manage the effects of your main switch decision, approval is needed and may be granted if you understand and agree to the following terms:

1. You must submit a formal request through an application process.
Perhaps this is something the Class Leads can work on together to know what kinds of things they'd want in this application?

2. Your request will be evaluated by the leadership team to assess the impact your decision has on the guild.
Although your request may be approved, it doesn't mean you have earned the same privilleges you once had. You're starting over, from the ground up. There might be changes, so expect them.

3. Knowing that you were conditionally invited to the guild to fulfill a specific role (tank, dps, healing), you must expect that although your current role in the guild grants you a raid spot, your new role may not grant you the same benefit.
For example, your gear or your class role may not be what the leadership is looking for in our current progression.

4. You may be assigned a new Class Lead and he/she may organize their team differently than your previous Class Lead.
You must discuss and agree to the terms outlined by your leaders.

5. You must agree to all status quo rules within all guild charters including DKP Earning Rule #3 - Every character will earn Hawaiians DKP independently.
To be clear, this means that your DKP earned on your current character will not rollover to your newly declared main character.
No rollover DKP, we are not AT&T.

6. You may request for a main switch every 6 months if you wish to do so.

7. Your rank will be set to Keiki and promotions will follow normal status quo promotion guidelines.

Why is this important? We want to be sure that you have the guild in mind before yourself. We believe that if you want to switch your main to enjoy this game through a new perspective and have assessed the impact of your request to this guild, we don't believe you would have any problems with this action. This also helps manage the feelings of all other players that have worked hard on their characters to not feel like someone new is being considered equal or above them. Everyone goes through the ropes; sometimes more than once.
